Plan a special hen party in our welcoming studio and you will not be disappointed. We can also come to your venue. Come together while you make, decorate and paint your creative pieces using hand building methods or enjoy some wet messy fun learning how to throw pots on the pottery wheels. You can also do a combination of the two.

Food and drinks are welcome, whether you are bringing your own or ordering in.

We take care planning every bespoke party to make sure that you and your guests are delighted. Party packages include hand building in clay, pottery wheel throwing or a mix of the two. You can paint your pieces for firing in our kiln or use a special air drying clay and take home your creations the same day.

We can facilitate parties of up to 30 people in the studio or many more at your venue.

We had a wonderful time at our Clay With Carole Pottery Wheel Throwing afternoon as a family group for our mums birthday. Carole was an excellent teacher and gave us the appropriate level of guidance and support considering we were all beginners to using a pottery wheel. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable afternoon and we all want to book in to do it again! I would highly recommend it for anyone/any group looking to do something creative and rewarding with their weekend. Amazing pottery lesson with Carole for my Dad’s 80th birthday. It’s something my Dad’s always wanted to try so the whole family booked a group lesson to keep him company. We all had a fantastic time. Carole is an amazing teacher, very knowledgeable, calm and not forgetting extremely patient! We really didn’t appreciate how technical the wheel is and Carole’s technical knowledge and tutoring was mind blowing and we certainly had a few giggles along the way.

We had a wonderful afternoon last Friday with Carole and her daughter – much fun, lots of laughter and possibly a few passable pots, only time will tell once they are through the firing process. Great afternoon celebrating a friend’s special birthday, 9 of us in total. Thoroughly recommend Carole and I am sure some of us will be returning to try to ‘master’ the wheel !!

I booked my 50th party with Clay With Carole and invited 11 guests. We all had an amazing time hand building and painting our masterpieces. We all had a go at throwing as well. Carole and Talia were really helpful in getting us all started, and then provided expert help and guidance as needed throughout the day. Highly recommend.
